About Jorge?
Jorge was Born in Colombia, South America. Jorge Arteta was raised in Chicago from the age of 2. He played all sports but enjoyed soccer and swimming at a high level.
Jorge was a late bloomer not playing until much later in life. He fell in love with golf and played on the Golf Channel AM Tour and participated in multiple national championships. He has also played on mini-tours in Florida.
Jorge has played in many locations including Hawaii, Scotland (The Old Course), Iceland and many in the United States. Fluent in English and Spanish Jorge has touched a broad audience looking to play golf.
He received his bachelor degree at the University of Florida and earned his MBA at Tampa College. A firm believer in continuing education, “you can never stop learning”, he says.
Jorge left the “real world” where he held various management roles with industry leaders such as Goya Foods, The Home Depot and H&R Block and eventually moved to Orlando and graduated as the Valedictorian of his class at the Professional Golfers Career College earning an Associate’s Degree.
He loves to teach and share his knowledge with his students and watch them when they hit the ball “flush” for the very first time and they turn around and say, “can we do that again?”.
